The best of Queensland wines!

“Witches Falls” is a small, highly regarded 200-tonne winery located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland. When winemaker Jon Heslop decided to start his own label, there were two things that drove him – the desire to produce unique wines that people would love and his belief in the incredible potential of Queensland’s Granite Belt as a premium wine-producing region.

Fast forward to today and this dream has become reality. Witches Falls’ wines have been delighting people for over a decade and the winery has been awarded a 5 RED Star Rating by James Halliday in the 2020 Wine Companion – placing it in the top 7.6% of wineries nationally.

Locating the winery on Tamborine Mountain was also part of the plan. The beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland is the ideal destination for visitors doing day trips from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, yet close enough to the Granite Belt where the grapes are grown. Our intimate cellar door offers the ideal environment to enjoy your wine tasting experience.

Winery visitors have the opportunity to taste our extensive wine range while taking in all the winery action through the large glass windows behind the tasting counter. We also have our own range of locally made Jambreen Cheeses available so you can choose your favourites and design your own cheese board.

The Witches Falls’ Cellar Door is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm for tasting and cellar door sales. Booking is recommended.
